Subnational population change for Oforikrom district Background: It was carved out of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly. It is a University community with several thousands of students in residence. It has a very distinctive population structure where the number of 15-19 and 20-24 year olds are very large relative to the rest of the population (pasted below). This creates a numerator / denominator mismatch for the model when it projects the number of PLHIV from the DHS HIV prevalence from 2014 to 2021 because we do not handle migration very carefully. The simplest solution would be to smooth out the population distribution for this district. Would that be okay? Redistributed the population of Oforikrom proportionally to the national population age distribution
